Press Release
Revenue Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network Established
Office of the Spokesperson

The Revenue Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network has been formally established. The Office is responsible for the Network's system of levies: the Member Contribution Levy and the Interconnection Levy, payable by member organisations, the Citizen Contribution, payable by citizens in work, and Transaction Duty, charged on supplies within the Network. It maintains the register of those liable to the levies, issues revenue references, receives returns and payments, and publishes statements of receipts.
With its establishment complete, the Office today launches its official website at revenue.gov.vin. The site carries press releases and official statements, the rates, bands and thresholds of the four levies for the levy year 2026–27, guidance on registration, filing and payment, and the Office's statements of receipts.
Receipts of 1,940,000 credits, collected under the interim arrangements operated by the Treasury Department between 10 August and 5 September 2026, were transferred to the Office at establishment. The rates and bands for the levy year 2026–27, the opening of registration and the first statement of receipts are the subject of separate announcements published today.
