The Revenue Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network today opened registration with the Office. Every member organisation must register by 30 September 2026, as must citizens who trade on their own account within the Network. Citizens whose earnings from work in the Network are expected to exceed the 20,000 credit nil band of the Citizen Contribution in the levy year must register by 31 October 2026. A revenue reference is issued on registration, normally within five working days.

The Office also published the filing timetable for the levy year 2026–27. Member organisations file a quarterly return within 21 days of the end of each quarter, the first covering 1 October to 31 December 2026 and due on 21 January 2027. Citizens in work file an annual Citizen Contribution return, due on 31 October following the end of the levy year. The amount due is payable with each return.

The steps for registering, filing a return and paying a levy are set out on the Registration, Filing a Return and Paying a Levy pages of this site. Changes of details must be reported to the Office within 21 days. Enquiries may be sent to contact@revenue.gov.vin.
