Revenue Office Publishes First Statement of Receipts

Office of the Spokesperson

The Revenue Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network today published its first statement of receipts. The statement covers the interim period from 10 August to 5 September 2026, during which the Network's levies were assessed and collected by the Treasury Department under interim arrangements. The receipts collected in that period were transferred to the Office at its establishment on 6 September 2026.

Receipts of 1,940,000 credits were collected in the interim period: 1,120,000 credits of Member Contribution Levy from the 61 member organisations registered in readiness for establishment, 214,000 credits of Interconnection Levy, 486,000 credits of Transaction Duty and 120,000 credits of Citizen Contribution from the 16,800 citizens registered. The Office estimates receipts of 22,600,000 credits for the levy year 2026–27, on the basis of the registered base and the run rate of the interim period.

The Office will publish a statement of receipts with each quarterly return cycle, the first covering the quarter ending 31 December 2026 and due for publication in February 2027. The full tables, including the estimate by levy, are set out on the Receipts page of this site.
